The
Resurrection and Compatibilism (PhD Edit)
The
resurrection work of Jesus Christ would be reasoned to change the entire nature
of saved persons to sinless and allow everlasting life,[1]
but without God also determining that sin would never again occur, I reason
that transworld depravity as mentioned by Alvin C. Plantinga could always be a
concern.
I reason that
as human nature has already demonstrated that it can fall, in the restoration
it will need not only culminated perfect nature through resurrection, but also
the influence of the Holy Spirit in heavy measure. Citizens will be filled with
the Holy Spirit as was Stephen in Acts Chapter 6, for example. The New American
Standard Version Bible Version (1984: 1234-1235). As God has developed saved persons to freely
follow him with his guidance, I do not see why this would change within the
everlasting realm.
Without
compatibilism in my view, incompatibilism and free will theory is left with the
problem of explaining how human corruption and Plantinga’s transworld depravity
will not prevent the salvation of persons and the completed and finalized
Kingdom of God.

Here would be perhaps my most controversial post ever, but it is rolling around in my brain. Here is a comment trial...
ReplyDeleteDo some relationship coaches make women God?
I am really busy now. I work 3-11 @ corp. security for prob. a fortune 50 corp.
On Sat. I homecare and shop for ‘The Boss’.
On Sun. I go to church. My one entire social day with no work.
I also write...well so far nine blog articles this month, so sometimes I am working 12 hours a day between blogging, homecare and work.
So, not much time for socializing or meeting people same old story. Although the secular world has more opps. than Church which is a sad statement. People seem way more open in a work context.
At work co-workers ask me why I do not date or why I am not married.
I explain to some of them the Christian/secular saga.
I explained to Mr. S. my stalkers/lurkers saga and he of course predictably stated it was bullsh**. No names of course...
Anyway, for info and entertainment, I still receive emails from some coaches.
Sample of latest..
Don Steele..
Basically stating that because of evolution (Darwinian), marriage and relationships are not meant to last more than a few years.
Ah, this is better for a guy like him that is in his 70s and has the skill to date 18-30s and it seems to me, like Hugh Hefner this is what he wants to keep doing.
But, a philosophy of ending relationships and divorce is very bad for even the best looking young women.
Why? Because let’s toss aside the PC baloney; as I have pointed out, and not to be mean, is that women, even the best looking ones, are a declining asset in the looks dept. This means that to get divorced past 35 when child-bearing years are less is especially bad for women, but of course Don Steele does not want a family. No shock.
For me, I could never depend on my looks so being 35+ is not as much of a negative except for the social stigma and ageism and the brainwashing in North America and Europe. Of course I do my best, however. And I can still have kids.
His view sounds ‘good’ for an ageing bachelor that does not want a family, and bad for women.
Doc Love...
I listened to him tonight, which is rare. He talked about a 39 year old looking for a wife that had never found anyone, and would supposedly be in trouble because he did not have the Doc’s materials.
And yet, here Doc is, and the listener I suppose is supposed to wave critical thought at this point, Doc Love in his 60s with merely a girlfriend. No not happily married, etc...
So, yes likely divorced etc... How many times? Who knows.
And yet after interviewing 10, 000 women, he apparently thinks he can tell the public he knows it all for money.
Both Steele and Love place much emphasis on the man in Western society meeting the high interest level of the woman.
I agree this is true, but they place so much emphasis in the woman and what she demands, she becomes God.
What is overlooked is that women, like men are sinful by nature (Romans 1-3).
The experts in many ways by appeasement simply add fuel to fire.
To try to appeal to to the interest level of females without understanding that they have a sinful nature is to make a grave theological and philosophical error.
Notice the Bible would not use such kiss a** language in regard to men pleasing women, but rather men are to love women (wives) and women (wives) are to respect (husbands), but this deification of females in the process takes much of the respect for men by both sexes, out of the picture.
And the worst thing is God is left out of the picture.
I think this is one of the most vital info for me. And i'm glad reading your article. But wanna remark on some general things, The website style is wonderful, the articles is really great : D. Good job, cheers my web blog :
Sometimes I truly wonder about these so called experts in dating and relationships. Their personal lives often will speak louder than their words!

ReplyDeleteDarren (Mr. Buff) asked me Sat. night to look up for my benefit in light of my corp. work Chinese women and older white men...
Here goes...

Why are there so many Asian Women with Caucasian Men in Vancouver? Page 1 of 2 (1, 2)
For those of you in/from Vancouver, I'm sure that you have noticed the abundance of Asian Women who date Caucasian Men here. Some Asian girls even write directly on their profile "looking for a white guy." I'm curious about this phenomenon of Yellow Fever/Asian Fetish from both directions:
Why do White Guys like Asian Girls? Well I've never dated any Asian girls before, but friends of mine would tell you that they are more likely to make a man feel like a man, and truly appreciate the little things the guy does to make her feel like a woman. They might say Canadian girls tend to be a lot more spoiled, hard to please, high maintenance etc. These are just generalities though, I'm sure there are plenty of high maintenance Asian girls, and homebody type Canadians.
End quotes
My reasoning is that
Asian and Chinese women are probably influenced somewhat by more traditional thinking, often and therefore less influenced by feminism and therefore often less high maintenance. Of course not always the case.
I am not a very experienced dater having been a student for so long, but have had heard this kind of chatter many times. A good friend of mine, and I was in his wedding, is considered quite good looking and eventually married a woman from the Philippines as Roman Catholics because of such reasons because he just could not find a committed RCC Christian in the Greater Vancouver area that was native Caucasian.
Personally, my first preference is Northern and Western European background but I am growing very tired of being the only one interested in any kind of effort at anything and after all, God’s will be done. I am one of the best guys out there and although a sinner, need to be respected. Perhaps I need to further reconsider Asians and Mr. Buff is stating perhaps an Asian from work could be taken to church. There are many classy women at work.
My other option being Easter Europe and Dean and Anjela state the Ukraine and Bulgaria would be very good for me. Again I would be respected which is an issue of concern I have with the North American church.

ReplyDeleteHello there, You've performed a great job. I will definitely digg it and in my view suggest to my friends. I am confident they will be benefited from this web site.
I have discussed this issue previously on blogs but a very important one...
ReplyDeleteThe other day I was looking through my Facebook and I noticed some people from my former church in Vancouver that are no longer Facebook friends.
Just a few, not many. One handful maybe, and I write two controversial blogs, although I try to be fair and good on here.
So, I conclude they have un-friended me.
One, I know about because she according to Matt, had the habit of bullying Matt and when she tried to bully him and I and I kindly but sternly put her in her place, she was bent out of shape.
If I am sinning or am offensive in some way, or just could act in a better social way, and someone corrects me in some way, I can become a better person, potentially, through verbal or written correction.
This cannot take place by merely being shunned.
Of course the other person may also take criticism back, and I reason often it is not so much that the other person does not want to hurt my feelings, but has fears that in the process of exposing some of my faults or supposed faults as a finite sinner, some of his/her faults as a finite sinner might be exposed.
Therefore they simply avoid me.
My conclusion is however that this is error and of fear and not faith.
Also, by the way, when a person avoids me, it can give me a false sense of confidence that I am right because they are too afraid to discuss issues with me.
What happens is I play the arguments in my head and since the person is not there and I have PhD level reasoning, I find ways to overcome premises and build good arguments with God's help.
Just being honest...
