The term theodicy arose from G.W. Leibniz’ book in 1710 entitled 'Theodicy'. Leibniz, G.W. (1710)(1998). Robert M.Adams (1996) notes that the word theodicy is from the Greek, as theos is God and dike is
justice. Adams (1996: 794).
