Dr. Earl Radmacher, a Baptist theologian, taught Theology I and Theology II at seminary on the campus of Trinity Western University.

He presented a dispensational theology and hermeneutic, that being (paraphrased) the bible was in context, to be interpreted literally. But different biblical genres exist. Within these genres, ranges of plain literal to figurative literal language exist.

Exegesis was to be done with a literal understanding, allowing for biblical genres.
