• I am pleased with the finalized version of my Mom's memorial page. With the COVID-19 pandemic, Mom's friends and relatives are too far away and having to quarantine if they visit British Columbia; this memorial page will serve as an online legacy.

• In regards to racism, I have noted that within my Reformed, Christian worldview from the English Standard Version (ESV):

• Galatians 3: 28: English Standard Version 28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is no male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.
Thank you, Miss CIA: Facebook

• 1 Corinthians 12: 12-13 English Standard Version 12 For just as the body is one and has many members, and all the members of the body, though many, are one body, so it is with Christ. 13 For in one Spirit we were all baptized into one body—Jews or Greeks, slaves[d] or free—and all were made to drink of one Spirit. d 1 Corinthians 12:13 For the contextual rendering of the Greek word doulos, see Preface (Of the ESV)

• I do not live in America, I live in British Columbia, Canada. I am not part of American culture, to be clear. But, my take is that most biblical Christians on this planet will understand and embrace that humanity all originate from Adam and Eve (Genesis 1-3) and Noah and family (Genesis 6-9). There is an equality in the gospel and in the New Testament for humanity. Racism in contrary to gospel theology.

• However, many biblical Christians and conservative and libertarian types, intellectually are not interested in being told, lectured or influenced through liberal, social, political correctness, in how to respond to the great evil of racism. Like myself, his/her intellectual influences are not primarily celebrities, athletes and politicians. Like myself, these influences could and/or would be biblical and academic. To be clear, law and order should be followed and this means respect for all within humanity by all within humanity.

• I came across this website and link while researching Noah and the flood.

Conclusions

If the 3.4-meter–thick layer of flood deposits in southeastern Mesopotamia (MacDonald 1988) represents a huge flood of ancient times, and if it is the remnants of the one described in the early Babylonian epics, then the authors of these epics were likely survivors who lived in a village on natural levees on the lower parts of either the Euphrates or Tigris Rivers where the flood waters covered their village, natural levees, and adjacent flood plains for distances of 160 to 320 kilometers so that no land could be seen, and their "whole world" would have been under water.

• I am not a scientist or flood expert, but I thought this approach above was far more academically open-minded than a couple of other online sources I came across today researching.

Thursday, December 13, 2018: Very brief on the Genesis flood

• I was aware in bible school that other creation and flood accounts were (are) extant. Creation, and the human response to it over time, and the flood occurrences would not only be Hebrew Bible events, but would be world events. As the Hebrew Bible is proclaimed as divinely revelatory, these other accounts, whether older or newer than the Hebrew Bible manuscripts, would tell these stories from a different worldview perspective. Rather than making the Hebrew Bible a 'rip-off' of older versions of world events, and therefore just different mythology, the Hebrew Bible versions serve as legitimate religious history with God that revealed self in several texts. Within the New Testament, the centrepiece of historical, documented, revelation is the resurrection of Jesus Christ. Gary Habermas has excellent resources on the historical resurrection.

Final Events II: Introduction Continued

Final Events II: Introduction Continued

This book review continues:

Introduction continued

Previously

Friday, August 07, 2020: Final Events I: Introduction

Author Redfern explains that Ray Boeche, an Anglican priest and Rector at Celebration Anglican Church in Lincoln, Nebraska, is also the founder and former director of the Fortean Research Center. He is as well a former Nebraska State Director for the Mutual UFO Network. In 1991, Boeche, after being contacted, met with two United States Department of Defense physicists in regards to the subject of UFOs. (I).

Redfern learned about these meetings when he met Boeche in 2006 and then interviewed him in 2007. (I). The book states Boeche had a shorter, and then a longer meeting with the two physicists from the Department of Defense. (I). This led to Boeche being 'plunged headlong into a strange and surreal world of classified Department of Defense projects, secret meetings and follow-up dialogues...'(2).

What was presented to Boeche from these Department of Defense physicists was descriptions of NHE's or Non-Human Entities, which many within UFO research and analysis reason are aliens (extraterrestrials, my add). (2). However, in contrast, certain persons within the Department of Defense reason these are 'deceptive minions of Satan.' (2).

August 27, 2020

The two men Boeche met with were 'physicists' (2). They were both Christians and while working for the US Department of Defense, an aspect of their work was to contacts NHE's. (2). The next part of this text is revealing:

Quote:

'And part of this effort was to try and control the NHE's and use their powers in military weapons applications and in intelligence areas, such as remote-viewing and psychotronic weapons.' (2).

These two Department of Defense, physicists reasoned the NHE's 'were not extraterrestrial at all; they believed they were some sort of demonic entities.' (2). Further the scientists stated that all the benevolent or beneficial contacts with these entities were 'tainted'. (2). Eventually the results of the contacts worked out to be 'bad'. (2). The scientists therefore viewed these encounters as demonic as opposed to extraterrestrial. (3). From a biblical context, the entities were viewed as deceivers of humanity. (3).

The two scientists that held to Christian faith and philosophy reasoned that others with the US Department of Defense were 'being lulled into a false sense of security' (4). The text explains that the supposed technology provided by the NHE's, such as psychotronic weapons and  remote viewing was not really being done by the Department of Defense, but the entities 'were always the causal factor'. (4).

Opinion

I am just beginning the review of this text, but if the Department of Defense scientists are correct that these entities were (are) demonic and therefore multidimensional/extradimensional as opposed to extraterrestrial; deception in acts and actions, from these entities, is indeed to be expected. Human beings, especially the unregenerate (John 3, Titus 3 for the regenerate) do not significantly understand the spiritual, supernatural realm. The demonic entities, as do God's angels, have significant knowledge of the supernatural realm and the natural realm. As demonic entities, the fallen angels (2 Peter 2, Revelation 12: 7-9) serve Satan in both supernatural and natural realms. Angels serve the triune God, God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit in both supernatural and natural realms.

Demonic entities have the upper hand in any dealings with the Department of Defense or any other human entity that does not embrace the power of Almighty God through the gospel for protection from the powers of darkness. A key is to humbly as finite and sinful humanity, seek the biblical God as opposed to seeking human knowledge and wisdom, alone, while interacting with extraterrestrial or extradimensional entities which too are finite. If these entities are not under direct submission to the eternal, infinite, God, and have rebelled against God, they are tainted by evil.

Very briefly on a new friend

Very briefly on a new friend

Yesterday

Photo 2

This new friend of mine was briefly in our parking garage, and then settled near me long enough that I was able to take three photos.

I suppose, biblically, with a new creation (Revelation 20-22), wild animal-human contact would be much more typical. In whatever ways the human fall (Genesis 1-3. Romans 8) impacted the animal world, the results would be reversed.

Romans 8: 19-23

19 For the anxious longing of the creation waits eagerly for the revealing of the sons of God. 20 For the creation was subjected to futility, not willingly, but because of Him who subjected it, [a]in hope 21 that the creation itself also will be set free from its slavery to corruption into the freedom of the glory of the children of God. 22 For we know that the whole creation groans and suffers the pains of childbirth together until now. 23 And not only this, but also we ourselves, having the first fruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting eagerly for our adoption as sons, the redemption of our body. a. Romans 8:20 Or in hope; because the creation.

Photo 1

Cranfield suggests that the Apostle Paul here in verse 19, is explaining 'the whole-splendid theatre of the universe and all the manifold sub-human life within it as eagerly awaiting the revelation of the sons of God.' Cranfield (1992: 195). Humanity are the sons of God, in the context of regenerated, believing Christians having the atoning and resurrection work of Jesus Christ applied to them, which includes the imputed righteousness of Jesus Christ (Romans, Galatians). In the atonement, which is multifaceted, believers are justified and sanctified. In the future resurrection, believers are restored to physical, finite, sinless, perfection. (1 Corinthians 15, 1 Thessalonians 4).

Bruce explains in regards to verse 22 ...'it carries with it the hope of new life for all creation.' Bruce (1987: 164).

Mounce is his Romans commentary opines in regards to verse 20-21 that 'As sin brought the curse of death to the physical universe, the day is coming when a new heaven and earth will be in place (2 Peter 3: 13; Revelation 21: 1).' Mounce (1995: 185).

From Orthodoxy: In regards to verse 22, 'the transformation of all creation to be eternally in harmony with God's sovereign rule.' (The Orthodox Study Bible: 357).

The Orthodox Study Bible: Non-exhaustive on I John 2: 18-19-Part Two

The Orthodox Study Bible, New Testament and Psalms, (1993) Saint Athanasius Orthodox Academy, Thomas Nelson Publishers, Nashville, Tennessee.

Preface

My review of Orthodoxy continues, even as I am Reformed.

Part one provided textual information.

I John 2: 18-19 (or 1 John)

I John 2: 18-19 (NKJV)

The text uses the New King James Version (NKJV) based within the Greek, majority text tradition.

18 Little children, it is the last hour; and as you have heard that the[d] Antichrist is coming, even now many antichrists have come, by which we know that it is the last hour. 19 They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would have continued with us; but they went out that they might be made manifest, that none of them were of us.

d. I John 2:18 NU omits the

The Orthodox texts also acknowledges that 'NU omits the' (572).

The Orthodoxy bible states: 'The last hour is the era of the New Covenant...' (572). There are deceptions in view, as opposed to a specific prediction of the end of the world. (572). 'Many antichrists are the heretics, through whom the Antichrist of the end time (see 2 Thessalonians 2) is doing his spadework.' (572).

Note, this Orthodoxy text assumes that there is a futurist aspect of Antichrist and not simply a preterist take that would take place entirely in the New Testament era. Second Thessalonians 2, indeed in my opinion supports a futurist approach.

2 Thessalonians 2: 7-12

New American Standard Bible (NASB)

7 For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only he who now restrains will do so until he is taken out of the way. 8 Then that lawless one will be revealed whom the Lord will slay with the breath of His mouth and bring to an end by the appearance of His [f]coming; 9 that is, the one whose [g]coming is in accord with the activity of Satan, with all power and [h]signs and false wonders, 10 and with [i]all the deception of wickedness for those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth so as to be saved. 11 For this reason God [j]will send upon them [k]a deluding influence so that they will believe [l]what is false, 12 in order that they all may be [m]judged who did not believe the truth, but [n]took pleasure in wickedness.

f 2 Thessalonians 2:8 Or presence
g 2 Thessalonians 2:9 Or presence
h 2 Thessalonians 2:9 Or attesting miracles
i 2 Thessalonians 2:10 Or every deception
j 2 Thessalonians 2:11 Lit is sending
k 2 Thessalonians 2:11 Lit an activity of error
l 2 Thessalonians 2:11 Or the lie
m 2 Thessalonians 2:12 Or condemned
n 2 Thessalonians 2:12 Or approved

I take it this event, the second coming of Jesus Christ, should be interpreted with a significant level of literalness. However, I admit that the Lord slaying the lawless one with the breath of His mouth is quite possibly significantly figurative language. But the second coming of Christ is a literal, biblical and theological event of the future.

In my mind, the potentially figurative nature of Christ's breath and the slaying of the opposition does not cancel out the literalness of the second advent. Actual (non-fiction, non-mythological) historical events can be described with degrees of literal and figurative language. Jesus Christ literally destroys the lawless one at this point, in some context to do with breath from his mouth. Possibly, it may also be quite literal language, as Jesus Christ as the God-man would be quite capable of destroying an opponent that way. Regardless, it does not appear this event occurred in the New Testament era.

1 Thessalonians 4: 13-18

First Thessalonians is important on this subject as well:

New American Standard Bible (NASB)

13 But we do not want you to be uninformed, brethren, about those who are asleep, so that you will not grieve as do the rest who have no hope. 14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with Him those who have fallen asleep [a]in Jesus. 15 For this we say to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive [b]and remain until the coming of the Lord, will not precede those who have fallen asleep. 16 For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a [c]shout, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. 17 Then we who are alive [d]and remain will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we shall always be with the Lord. 18 Therefore comfort one another with these words.

Footnotes

a 1 Thessalonians 4:14 Lit through
b 1 Thessalonians 4:15 Lit who
c 1 Thessalonians 4:16 Or cry of command
d 1 Thessalonians 4:17 Lit who

The second coming of Jesus Christ, also known as the second advent and the resurrection of the dead in Jesus Christ and the transformation to resurrection of those alive, is futuristic and requires a futurist interpretations of sorts. These things are mentioned with the New Testament and will take place in the future. (see also 1 Corinthians 15 and Revelation 20-22).

Further on I John 2: 18-19

Pastor Courson opines that in verse 18, these antichrists are 'against Christ', or are 'in the place of Christ'. (1620). In verse 19, these antichrists state 'Forget the church'. (1621). 'I can experience Christ on my own'. (1620). These types are accountable to no one. (1621). These types deny the faith. (1621).

I basically agree with Pastor Courson, but I would add that some antichrists would not state to 'forget the church' but instead would seek to transform the church, theologically in order to suit some agenda.

R.W. Orr explains that I John documents that the spirit of antichrist was already in the world. (1577). Courson also notes that the spirit of antichrist was in existence, and he cites I John 4: 3 where the spirit of antichrist is already in the world. (1621). These false teachers have the spirit of antichrist. (1577). Their teachings and doctrines are demonic as opposed to being guided by the Holy Spirit and scripture, in context.

The Orthodox Study Bible: Non-exhaustive on I John 2: 18-19-Part One

The Orthodox Study Bible, New Testament and Psalms, (1993) Saint Athanasius Orthodox Academy, Thomas Nelson Publishers, Nashville, Tennessee.

Preface

My extended book review of this bible from Orthodoxy continues, with my reflections within the Reformed tradition and also at times via philosophy of religion.

I have mentioned this previously on this website.

Cited

NU-Text These variations from the traditional text generally represent the Alexandrian or Egyptian type of text [the oldest, but sometimes questioned text]. They are found in the Critical Text published in the Twenty-sixth edition of the Nestle-Aland Greek New Testament (N) and in the United Bible Society's third edition (U), hence the acronym "NU-text."

I John 2: 18-19 (NASB)

As example from the minority texts:

I John 2: 18 from the New American Standard Bible (NASB)

18 Children, it is the last hour; and just as you heard that antichrist is coming, even now many antichrists have appeared; from this we know that it is the last hour. 19 They went out from us, but they were not really of us; for if they had been of us, they would have remained with us; but they went out, so that [d]it would be shown that they all are not of us.

d. I John 2:19 Lit they would be revealed

The NASB is based on the older minority texts, as opposed to the newer majority text, the Greek manuscripts of the Byzantine text-type.

Cited:

The two Cambridge professors, B. F. Westcott and F. J. A. Hort, preferred to label the ancestor of the Alexandrian text type the “Neutral text,” meaning that it was relatively unchanged and successively became the more corrupt type of text that they identified as the Alexandrian text. The so-called Neutral text, chiefly represented by the fourth-century codices Vaticanus and Sinaiticus, formed the basis of their The New Testament in the Original Greek (1881). This edition—which in Westcott and Hort’s view represented the most accurate and authentic version of the New Testament in the original language available in their day—furnished the death blow to the traditional text published by Erasmus in 1516, also known as Textus Receptus (the “received text”), which had dominated Greek editions and, indirectly, Bible translations (most famously the King James Version) for hundreds of years.

(I still have trust in the majority text as a viable manuscript (s) option)

Although the theory of text types still prevails in current text-critical practice, some scholars have recently called to abandon the concept altogether in light of new computer-assisted methods for determining manuscript relationships in a more exact way. To be sure, there is already a consensus that the various geographic locations traditionally assigned to the text types are incorrect and misleading. Thus, “Western text” is not the only misnomer: the geographical labels of the other text types should be considered with suspicion, too. Some scholars prefer to refer to the text types as “textual clusters.”

This Byzantine manuscripts provide the basis for the Textus Receptus and the King James Version (KJV) and the New King James Version (NKJV).

The History of the Textus Receptus

There is a great deal of misinformation regarding the origins of the Textus Receptus. This is especially true of the manner in which Desiderius Erasmus gave us his original Greek New Testament which was published in 1516. It was this work which went on to become the foundation of the Textus Receptus. Erasmus did not invent the Textus Receptus, but simply put together a collection of what was already the vast majority of New Testament Manuscripts in the Byzantine tradition. The first Greek New Testament to be collated was the Complutensian Polyglot in (1514), but it was not published until eight years later, Erasmus' was the second Greek New Testament which was printed and published in (1516).

The textual background research work has taken more time than I expected. But it is, for the sake of the truth, good to acknowledge textual variations, while the essential gospel and New Testament message remains consistent. I will look into the text and theology, in my next article.

1. An initial thought when I saw this image on Facebook was that it was cruel to take that shark out of the water. That is extremely well-done. (Originally video was deleted from Facebook)

Intercontinental Zoom: Mental competency?

Intercontinental Zoom: Mental competency?

World of Domes informal discussion included:

An interesting and informative perspective (paraphrased) from someone that has taught in America on American cultural racial definitions.

Is Democrat, Joe Biden mentally competent to be President of the United States of America?

Is Republican, President Donald Trump mentally competent to be President of the United States of America?

Is political bias a significant issue in considering the mental competency of an opposing candidate?

Is Canadian, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, Teflon man?

For the second week running, Arne, Deputy Dawg insisted I cut my hair and have a dome, like almost everyone else in the group.

• Earning a PhD is a long and tedious process.

Dear Deputy

Dear Arne (The Norwegian Benny Hill, Deputy Dawg). Thank you for posting that fantastic video.

Just to be clear, considering that video, in case you have any ideas; if/when you visit us back in British Columbia, and if/when we tour the Excited States of Americana...

1. Your very cool Zoom Stetson, does not entitle you to drive your rental car 'Dukes of Hazzard' style in the USA.

2. The driving above in the video, is not the method to have an American law enforcement officer take his/her photograph with you.

3. The driving above in the video, is not the method to have an American law enforcement officer give you a free local law enforcement hat, to rival your Stetson.

(Probably your biggest desire)

4. Don't do it, Arne. When American Christian women online tell you to 'man up', that is not what they mean.

5. You are a fictional, cartoon, deputy, not a real one, sir.

6. The civilian driving method in the video, is not 'white trash privilege'...

Philosophical & Theological Reflections On Satirical Images: Beautiful card

Many thanks!
Philosophical & Theological Reflections On Satirical Images: Beautiful card

My Mother had dementia for many years and her brain was in decline throughout that time. I have had several years to become set with my thoughts and feelings on the subject of her passing. Note, for you few critics out there that I am adopted. But Mom was and is my one and only 'real' Mother.

Thank you very much to Clive and Amy Burslem from church that sent this both aesthetically beautiful and biblical card to me. It reminds me of the biblical hope of resurrection, for my Mother, and myself and anyone in Jesus Christ.  I continue to work on a write-up for Mom's memorial page.

As examples: In the New Testament, prior to the resurrection discussed in 1 Corinthians 15 and Revelation 20-22, those regenerated who trust in the applied\atoning and resurrection work of Christ, as disembodied spirits, have the hope and promise of paradise. In Luke 23, Jesus Christ, as God-incarnate promised the crucified criminal beside him, paradise that day. In 2 Corinthians 12 the Apostle Paul visited paradise, in body or spirit, he did not know.

I take paradise as biblically, an actual literal place, but in the spiritual realm, and not the physical realm. Paradise should not be taken plain literally as existing within our present realm (see link from this website below). While I acknowledge that there are other more figurative theological interpretations of paradise within Christianity.

Perhaps a literal paradise has a simulated physicality? I doubt it is a timeless state where residents are simply given divine thoughts. Time is required, or a realm of finity at least, as a finite entity requires time or a realm of finity to reason from 'point a' to 'point b'. This is unlike God that has infinite knowledge outside and inside of time and finity and knows all as opposed to reasoning in time and/or finity as finite entities do. I reason that time/finity in the spiritual realm is definitely not solar time or time within a natural realm, but rather a supernatural realm. In other words, I do not know how the time/finity in paradise will be perceived by persons from physical death to resurrection.

My deduction it that it will not seem like 'years' or too long for people in paradise, between their arrival and departure as resurrected. But this is speculation.

I informed a friend and neighbour about Mom's death on July 31, 2020, today. As I explained Mom's thoughts on death, this neighbour appreciated and respected my historical, religious embracing of the gospel in regards to life and death, which were similar to Mom's views. At the same time, I appreciated and respected my neighbours rights to hold to her own private religious views (or no religious views), even as my views will be in agreement and disagreement with hers at points.

Previously

This book review of sorts, since 2016, has now advanced to Chapter X: Abstraction and Interpretation. Philosopher Langer explains that logic is the study of forms and these forms are derived within systems from common human experiences, reality and life. (240). This is done by abstraction. (240).

She further explains that the science of logic is a continued progression from the concrete to the abstract. (240). That would be concrete ideas and things to abstract symbolic logic. 'From contents with certain forms to those forms without contents, from instances to kinds, from examples to concepts.' (240). Langer explains that the first step is to the replacement of individual elements by formalized elements of variable meaning. (240). These are formalized elements, as in symbols within symbolic logic. The meaning of these elements is 'presently fixed.' (240). Not to be interpreted by their original terms. (240). Langer states that the symbolic logic has them interpreted in 'an entirely new way.' (240).

From Langer's explanation, what the symbolic logic provides is through quantifiers, are the old elements (which set meanings in contexts, my add), by new terms, which are general terms. (240). Symbolic logic provides a degree of formation from specific elements to quantified variables that are general terms. (240).

August 9, 2020

Properties of Relations is section 2 in Chapter X: Abstraction and Interpretation. Philosopher, Langer explains that with a general or abstract proposition, it is stated 'there is at least one relation, R having certain properties; and the form of the proposition to be expressive of those properties. Relations which have all their logical properties in common are of the same type, and are possible values of the same variable R.' (246).

Langer explains that the most fundamental characteristic of a relation is its degree. (246). Forming dyads, triads, tetrrads, etc.. (246).  Sets of 2, 3, 4, etc..my add. A symbol of R2 (246) is also in the form of a R b. (246). The symbolic logic symbols of 'a' and 'b' here are considered identical. (246). These are known as reflexive. (246).

Taking one of the examples:

(a) . ˜ (a nt a) (247).

(A) therefore not (house 'a' is north of house 'a')

In other words, house 'a' is not north of itself.

A non-reflexive symbol possibly, but not necessarily, combines a term with itself. (257).

Langer example:

(∃a) . a likes a (247)

(A exists) therefore 'a' likes 'a'

(∃a) . ˜ (a likes a) (247)

(A exists) therefore 'a' does not like 'a'

Langer implies that a creature may or may not like itself. (247).

Practical philosophy

I have noted within the review series that it is significant academic work to make Langer's complex, technical, textbook, practical. In reality, propositions, premises and conclusions will be far more presented in written language as opposed to symbolic logic. Regardless of the format presentations should be logical and reasoned for accuracy.

Perhaps the comparison of reflexive and non-reflexive terms demonstrates the requirement for the sake of reason, of considering possibilities, as in counter propositions that are in disagreement with propositions held to. This requirement was a definitive and definite aspect of my British MPhil/PhD works, even more so that my previous Canadian work.

Considering contrasting statements and arguments does not necessarily lead to a change of view, but it may lead to a superior, wider, deeper understanding of subjects under review.

Moderate left meets moderate right

Zoom last night. The moderate left meets the moderate right.
British Columbia. Florida, Norway...

People will be ticked

The losing Toronto Maple Leafs, at this point tonight, might join the Edmonton Oilers, Winnipeg Jets, Pittsburgh Penguins and four other teams with a reasonable possibility of winning the first pick overall in the next entry draft. The winner will be announced Monday. The pick is expected to be Alexis Lafrenière, a possible all-star. If the Leafs lose tonight, the result will offend many Leaf/Oiler fans and non-fans, alike.

Final Events I: Introduction

Final Events I: Introduction

Preface

My good friend, Mr. JCZ bought me 'Final Events' for my birthday, so as it has arrived, I will begin a book review series and consider how it progresses. This has me with four book reviews at present on this website, plus other theological, philosophical and biblical issues I research, analyze and write on that come to mind. Many are subjects that I continue to work on over the years.

My MPhil and PhD research was in regards to problems of evil, theodicy, free will, determinism and the nature of God, and I continue to write on these subjects. I embedded a biblical, Reformed solution to problems of evil within my British, PhD thesis.

My Mom has recently passed and so I have extra work to do with estate issues and will be producing shorter articles for now.

REDFERN, NICK (2010) Final Events: And The Secret Government Group On Demonic UFOS And The Afterlife, San Antonio/New York, Anomalist Books.

Mr. Redfern is a full-time author, lecturer and journalist. (Back cover).

For decades, stories of alien abductions, UFO encounters, flying saucer sightings, and Area 51 have led millions of people to believe that extraterrestrials are secretly among us. But what if those millions of people are all wrong? What if the UFO phenomenon has much darker and far more ominous origins? For four years, UFO authority Nick Redfern has been investigating the strange and terrifying world of a secret group within the U.S. Government known as the Collins Elite. The group believes that our purported alien visitors are, in reality, deceptive demons and fallen angels. They are the minions of Satan, who are reaping and enslaving our very souls, and paving the way for Armageddon and Judgment Day.

In FINAL EVENTS you'll learn about the secret government files on occultists Aleister Crowley and Jack Parsons, and their connections to the UFO mystery; revelations of the demonic link to the famous "UFO crash" at Roswell, New Mexico, in 1947; the disclosure of government investigations into life-after-death and out-of-body experiences; and an examination of the satanic agenda behind alien abductions. FINAL EVENTS reveals the stark and horrific truths about UFOs that some in the government would rather keep secret.

Introduction

Author Redfern explains that Ray Boeche, an Anglican priest and Rector at Celebration Anglican Church in Lincoln, Nebraska, is also the founder and former director of the Fortean Research Center. He is as well a former Nebraska State Director for the Mutual UFO Network. In 1991, Boeche, after being contacted, met with two US Department of Defense physicists in regards to the subject of UFOs.

The Reverend Boeche has a website.

Founder and former director of the Fortean Research Center, The Reverend Dr. Raymond W. Boeche has been involved in the study of unexplained phenomena since 1965. He has served as Nebraska State Director for the Mutual UFO Network, on the Board of Advisors for Citizens Against UFO Secrecy, and in various capacities with numerous other organizations around the world, involved in the study of unexplained phenomena.

Boeche has delivered juried papers at two MUFON International Symposia; was retained by the University of Nebraska as a consultant to organize, host, and present research papers at two major international conferences on the unexplained in 1982 and 1983. He has had numerous articles published, as well 4 books: a collection of his writings, "An Anthology of the Unexplained"; "The Collected Annals of the Journal of the Fortean Research Center"; "Bloodless Cuts: The Complete Collected Works of Thomas R. Adams"; and "A Time to Stand: When Government Turns Its Back on God."

Boeche is well-known as one of the primary investigators of the 1980 Bentwaters (UK) UFO incident. He is also recognized for his extensive work in the areas of animal mutilations, out-of-place animal sightings, Bigfoot reports, the Men-in-Black phenomenon, and occult religions and philosophies.

His research has often been cited in national publications such as Omni and Fate magazine, and in books by researchers such as Loren Coleman, Janet and Colin Bord, Jenny Randles, Jerome Clark, Timothy Good, and others. He has contributed to the Time-Life book series Mysteries of the Unexplained, the LBS Communications production "UFO Coverup. . . Live!" for the Fox Television Network, and Guennette Productions’ Home Box Office special, "UFO’s, What on Earth is Happening?"
He helped produce and host a popular weekly radio call-in talk show, Exploring Unexplained Phenomena for three years, is a frequent guest on other talk shows, and a popular speaker on theology and the unexplained.

As a theologian and apologist, Dr. Boeche headed an outreach to the academic community and the 'New Age' movement called "Reasonable Defense" from 1987 through 1994.
---

From my non-exhaustive research, both Mr. Redfern and Dr. Boeche appear as legitimate researchers on the subject of UFOs and their possible ontological sources. As a theologian and philosopher of religion, I find it very interesting that representatives and physicists (these two physicists were both Christians, page 2), from the US Department of Defense would consider extradimensional alternatives to extraterrestrial UFO theory. I shall continue with the Introduction from the book in a future article.

The Norwegian Benny Hill's weekend driving gig did not work out that well...

Apparently Benny was in such a Rush (not Mahavishnu) to get home, to chat online with his much younger and thinner foreign 'girlfriends', that he took the incorrect route for heavy trucks, back to his employer. This story was it appears even a 'hit' in Asia. However, this story has not been 'fact-checked' or 'fat-checked' and may be satire.

Thank you to Mr. Arne Novik for posting on Facebook.
