'It's the answer I needed'/Beginning a new book review: Origins of Life

Preface

I have planned to begin a review of 'Origins of Life' which I actually purchased years ago, for several years. I am on the Reasons to Believe mailing list and have reviewed a few articles from their newsletter on this website. On this website I have completed what I would consider, significant text reviews, over many articles, for the following:

WALLACE TOM Jr. (2015) Refuting Islam, The Christian Patriots Guide to Exposing the Evils of Islam, Bellingham, Fundamental Publishers. (Islam and Christianity)

PIRIE, MADSEN (2006)(2015) How To Win Every Argument, Bloomsbury, London. (Philosophy)

(I still reference the Pirie text)

I am in process with the following reviews:

LANGER, SUSANNE K (1953)(1967) An Introduction to Symbolic Logic, Dover Publications, New York. (Philosophy).

The Orthodox Study Bible, New Testament and Psalms, (1993) Saint Athanasius Orthodox Academy,Thomas Nelson Publishers, Nashville, Tennessee. (Orthodox Christianity)

(This review will probably continue perpetually)

'It's the answer I needed'

I received a text message yesterday in regard to one of my related articles in review of the Orthodox text:

Reader: 'It's the answer I needed.'

Me: 'Glad my work pays off for more than me.'

Beginning a new book review: Origins of Life

RANA, FAZALE and ROSS, HUGH (2004) Origins of LifeBiblical and Evolutionary Models Face Off, Reasons to Believe, Colorado Springs. (Science and Christianity)

Author's note

The two authors state that they are Christians. (9). At the same time they are scientists. (9). They claim they are interested in seeking and finding truth and evidence. (9). They are looking for quote:

'...a conclusion based on what seems most reasonable.' (9).

I share this approach within my own worldview.

Introduction: In Pursuit Of My Passion

Who Is The Creator?

Rana explains:

'The elegance of life's chemistry had already led me to recognize a creator's existence. Reading the Bible led me to embrace Christianity. Jesus was the creator and I had discovered inside the cell. With no felt need for a "crutch," I came to faith in Christ as a scientist in search of truth.' (15).

Please note that indeed, biblically, Jesus Christ is God-incarnate (as a form of God, Philippians 2: 6) and is as eternal, infinite God, the creator of all things, by him and for him, within the triune Godhead (Colossians 1: 16), see also John 1: 3). He is the eternal word of God (John 1).

HEWLETT, H.C. (1986) 'Philippians' in The International Bible Commentary, Grand Rapids, Zondervan.

MARTIN, RALPH P. (1987) Philippians, Grand Rapids, IVP.

RANA, FAZALE and ROSS, HUGH (2004) Origins of Life,  Biblical and Evolutionary Models Face Off, Reasons to Believe, Colorado Springs. (Science and Christianity)

WRIGHT, N.T., Colossians and Philemon, (1986)(1989), IVP, Eerdmans, Grand Rapids.

Bullet Monday: American Hucksters

• June 28, 2020 photo: I hosted seven friends on Facebook for the first time. My visual backgrounds are still inconsistent and a source of humour. Once again we were graced by the comedy routine and intellectual wit of the Norwegian Benny Hill.

• June 28, 2020 photo: Sadly, Facebook has ignored my several requests for a dialogue on why my second Blogger website Satire Und Theology has been banned from posting on my Facebook Business Page Russell Norman Murray, PhD, since March.

Prayerfully and in consultation with wise friends,  I have filed a formal complaint with the United States of America, Federal Trade Commission (FTC). I have an official claim number.  See link for the article in question where I acted ethically.

The article that led to the block from March 14, 2020

• June 28, 2020 photo: It might seem strange for a Canadian to complain to the American government, but I have done so in years past. Charles Nelson Chuckles, several years ago now, suggested I look at online opportunities selling websites for websites businesses (prior to Amazon and eBay being obvious online standards to use). I signed with one 'training group' for a while and soon realized that these American Hucksters had lied and were not keeping my information confidential. This company was sending my name and information out to third parties which called me acting as if they worked for the main business, the entity I paid the fee to for 'training'.

I soon realized that the main business from the main business, was taking the initial payment from the client (AKA the sucker) looking for a business opportunity and training, and then selling the client, side 'essentials' from third parties that claimed to be part of the main business for 'training'.

I asked for appropriate refunds and my refund of my initial payment was denied by the main company. I emailed several Attorney General Offices from American States. These various State governments claimed that there was nothing that they could do.

A few years later, I received a cheque (check) from the United States Department of Treasury (USDT) related to payment for these questionable practices. The United States government receives much bad press, but I respect them for seeking out a 'foreigner' to provide me reasonable compensation.

Quote: There is a God, and it is not you

Photos from Zoom: June 26, 2020

The lead quote is from a former pastor of mine.

You and I are not God or god, as we are, with two key points
not infinite and eternal. As far as the existence of God, on
this website in archives I have approached that subject from:

a) Bible and theology
b) Philosophy and philosophy of religion

These Zoom effects are due to inconsistencies with
the Zoom application and my continued responses.
My attempt at using the background
application is for it to look similar to my friend's excellent
version that is to the left. But I am left with comedy, as can be
viewed with previous photo captures shared on this
website, as well.

My friend joked that I looked like some type of god in
the heavens. I replied, perhaps from a British
comedy.

The Red Hand appears once again...

Makes me think British science fiction and/or comedy.

Here my red hair matches my Red Hand and
Chuck's (MIA) Red Dome.

I am stylish and the eyebrows match the hair.
